Dating to the mid 20th Century, this very fine gilt and black enamelled powder compact, decorated on the outside with faux pearls on a bar brooch, it opens with a bevelled mirror and a secondary opening for the powder compartment, with pad and gauze panel.It is in exceptional condition appearing to have had little or if any use.
