Georgian Mahogany Toilet Mirror
Early 19th Century dressing table mirror, bow fronted shape with an oval mirror suspended between serpentine uprights, it is complete but with minor losses such as the ivory key escutcheon and is in need of restoration.

Georgian Mahogany Versatile Dining Table
Freshly restored and re-polished this very versatile mahogany dining table from the end of the 18th Century can seat 10 comfortably and 12 if necessary, designed to break down to two console tables and two leaves it has a large number of combinations. Beautifully figured mahogany top ending in D ends standing on turned legs down to delicate pad feet.

Georgian Mahogany Washstand or Bedside Table
A very useful item of Georgian furniture, originally used as a washstand, now as a bedside table, this three level square mahogany table with drawer is in very good condition having been recently refurbished and repolished. The brass knob is a replacement.

Georgian Mahogany Writing Slope
George III about 1780 mahogany writing slope, with original gilded brass inkpots and pen tray.
Swan neck handles on both sides, one on the end of a full length drawer held in place by a brass peg.
Leather writing surface has been renewed.
Beautiful deep colour and patina the slope comes complete with key. The lock works but appears to be a little sticky.

Georgian Mahogany Writing Table
Two drawers with brass ring pull handles this pretty mahogany side table or writing table stands on elegant well proportioned ring turned legs.
Dating from the late Georgian period it is in very good condition and has just been waxed and polished to bring out the patina of the wood.

Georgian Sampler "Sarah Hockley" 1796
A late 18th Century sampler embroidered by Sarah Hockley in December 1796 aged 8 years, with intricate geometrical patterns, shields, flowers, trees and birds.
There are some loses to the backing cloth and there is fading but for a sampler of the age this is not surprising.
Part of a small collection of 6 samplers bought in the 70's and 80's by a couple who are now downsizing.

Georgian Sampler by "Mary Main" 1829
A sampler created in the reign of George IV featuring alphabet, numbers and a verse or prayer.
Decorated with a crown, thistles, birds and flowers with a scrolling border.
Made by Mary Main and dated August 3rd 1829.
There has been some fading of the colours but generally this is in very good condition in a Rosewood frame.

One of a small collection of six samplers bought mainly in the 70s and 80s by a couple now downsizing.

Clam shell or Palm leaf shaped George III silver caddy spoon, with crisp chased engraving and the letter "M" on the handle. It is in very good condition with clear marks indicating it was made in London by Walter Brind in 1785.

This gilt relief portrait is in a hardwood frame and a domed glass and is of the most celebrated novelist of the Victorian period.

A beautifully balanced Edwardian sword stick, horn handle, hardwood scabbard, silver collar dated London 1914, twist lock, diamond shaped blade with the remains of blueing apparent and ending in a steel and brass ferrule, this stick is in excellent condition.

Right angle handled Edwardian ladies walking cane with silver handle, collar and copper ferrule, hallmarked for Birmingham 1907, maker"OY".
