George II Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table
A large early Georgian drop leaf dining or breakfast table in heavy Cuban mahogany (sometimes refered to as "red walnut") with a gateleg action on elegant legs with acanthus leaf knee carving ending in swept pony hoofed feet. Circa 1740.
This is a very attractive and useful table, it will seat six when open and stores neatly to the side of a room when not.
In need of some attention to the top, this is reflected in the price.

George III Silver Cream Jug 1785
An exquisite Georgian silver sauce boat or cream jug with hoofed feet and a dramatic curled tail handle. In fantastic condition, it is hallmarked for London 1785, maker's mark is worn - could be "JB" or "JS".

Inscribed on the base "Dabney 1785"

Made in London in 1801 by John Emes, this is a silver teapot stand with a mahogany base. It has an amorial of a stag in the centre and is in excellent condition.

George IV Extending Mahogany Dining Table
A fine quality large dining table with 3 leaf insertions, in the manner of Gillows, raised on elegant turned and reeded legs terminating in brass castors.
The table with three leaves in will easily sit 10, with two leaves - 8, with one leaf 6 and without any, turns into a table for 4.
In very good condition. Circa 1830

Georgian Burr Walnut Chest of Drawers
Dating to the early part of the 18th century this chest has just been restored, cleaned and waxed. It probably started life as a chest on stand and has been improved with later additions.
There are three short and three long drawers, the inlay is book marked and cross banded in burr walnut, giving a beautiful colour and patina, with early brass handles and escutcheons and standing on bun feet, this piece is extremely elegant.

Georgian Burr Walnut Inlaid Writing Slope
Dating from the late 18th century this is a very fine walnut writing slope inlaid on top with a Mother of Pearl cartouche surrounded by a laurel wreath and on the front with another MOP escutcheon surrounding a working lock with key. Inside there is a baise writing surface, two brass screw top ink pots, a pen rest and two working secret drawers. In excellent overall condition this writing slope has recently been refurbished and repolished.

Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers
This chest has just been restored and sympathetically polished to ensure that none of it's patination and colour has been lost. Two short drawers above three long, with brass swan neck handles and key escutcheons ending in solid bracket feet, it is fantastic condition and ready for the next 250 years.
Circa 1760.

Georgian Mahogany Corner Washstand
Often used as a plant stand or jardiniere, this very versatile piece of furniture is in good original condition, a top shelf with an opening to take a large bowl plus two smaller bowls or cups, a central shelf with a boxwood edged drawer and a lower circular shelf supported by square section uprights ending in spayed feet.
These are popular to display porcelain as they stand in the corner and as a consequence are less likely to be knocked.

Georgian Mahogany Fret Work Pier Mirror
Pretty George III parcel gilt fret work mirror, original plate, with rare single candlestick or vase stand that can be returned to it's holder.
In excellent overall condition, with a warm patina, there are some minor losses to the edge, not surprising for a piece that is over 200 years old.

George III bow fronted inlaid corner cabinet with exceptional flame mahogany figured doors, crossbanded, framed with boxwood and ebony stringing, inlaid ivory key escutcheons topped by an inlaid conch shell motif below a curved top rail.
This piece is in excellent condition and comes with a working lock and key.

Georgian Mahogany Metamorphic Dining Table
This can be an eight seat dining table or a square supper table plus a round table or two console tables.
It represents Georgian ingenuity to facilitate in one piece of furniture, multiple uses.
The square table with it side panels fixed, stands on a quadripartite base standing on bun feet with internal castors.
The two "D" ends or console tables each stand on four ring turned legs ending in brass castors.
The quality and colour of the mahogany is superb and the overall condition is excellent, there are some veneer losses to the base as can be seen.
