A charming continental carriage clock made in sterling silver in the early 20th century. Recently serviced with clockmaker's guarantee, it is in full working order with an 8-day movement. With white dial and roman numerals, the classical styled silver case has a carrying handle and small bun feet.

Swagger Stick - Canadian Black Watch
Bearing the regimental cap badge of the senior Highland Regiment of Canada, The Black Watch, this early 20th Century malacca swagger stick with silver plated knob and ferrule was made by FN of Birmingham and is in excellent condition.

Tall Mahogany Chest of Drawers
Early 20th Century mahogany "Wellington" chest of drawers, with 6 graduated cockbeaded drawers with brass swan neck handles, ending in splayed bracket feet.
This versatile piece of furniture works equally well; in the dining room for storing cutlery, napkins etc; in the bedroom for clothes or in the study for paperwork.
It is currently undergoing a little light repolishing to bring it up to very good condition.

Tunbridge Ware and Rosewood Tea Caddy
A fabulous two compartment rosewood tea caddy with a mosaic of Hever Castle on the top and a Tunbrige Ware end grain floral mosaic around the picture and the waisted centre, mother of pearl key escutcheon, small ivory handles to the lids and a central mixing bowl.
Generally in very fine original condition there are a few minor losses on the front left edge.

Twin Pedestal Mahogany Extending Dining Table
This fabulous late 19th or early 20th Century mahogany extending dining table is in superb condition, the twin pedestal supports are finely carved, the top including the two leaves is a spectacular colour with no fading. The brass connectors and the supports underneath are in excellent condition, fitting together to provide a solid structure. As can be seen in the pictures it will seat 8 to 12 easily, or can be reduced to seat 6 without the leaves.

Victorian Brass Wind Gauge or Anemometer by J. Casartelli
Made in Manchester in 1890 this air meter, wind gauge or anemometer is in original condition and appears to be in working order. It is marked on the face "J.Casartelli Manchester Air-Meter No 407"
It can be mounted on a tripod as it has a threaded fitting underneath.

Victorian Burr Walnut Sutherland Table
A burr walnut and mahogany Sutherland table.
The top is inlaid with boxwood and ebony stringing, there is a floral marquetry decoration on both sides and a four leaf design inside an oval cartouche to the top. it sits on mahogany turned uprights ending in twin carved rounded feet braced by a turned stretcher.
The extending legs are matched turned spindles with porcelain pads to the bottom.
There is some pitting to the suface as can be seen in the pictures but this does not detract from the honey colour of the burr walnut.
At some time one of the feet has been repaired.

Victorian Doctor's Sword Stick Cane
Topped with a silver cap (London 1895), engraved to a Dr Tristan of Retford in Nottinghamshire, this malacca sheathed sword stick has a Toledo steel blade with a twist locking mechanism and so is a quality specimen.
It is in very good condition although the silver top has taken some knocks over the years.

Solid and comfortable late 19th Century country made fruitwood rocking chair with rattan cane seat.
In good condition with great patina, the spindles are all complete and it's joints firm, this chair will see many more years of snoozing!
