A very attractive pair of silver sauce boats standing on elegant three hoofed feet in a presentation case made in Birmmingham in 1910/11 by ES Barnsley & Co (Edward Souter Barnsley).
The original case is from the retailer Edward Ewen of Dumfries.

2 silver sauce ladles made in London by John Lambe, the round one in 1790 and the oval one in 1807. Both are inscribed with initials "RAL" and "RL".
In reasonable condition the round one has been repaired.

Pair of Wall Lights with Hanging Lustres |
These gilt brass pair of wall lights with two arms and hanging crystal lustres have just been removed from an apartment, cleaned and are ready for a new home.
In addition there is another wall light, crescent shaped with crystal stones and bars.
All made in the mid 20th century, they are in excellent condition.

Parquetry Inlaid Circular Snuff Box |
Inlaid with a geometric parquetry design and an ebony and ivory disc in the centre of the block pattern, this fantastic rosewood circular snuff box is assumed to be Tunbridge Ware but of an unknown pattern. (Unless someone out there knows differently)
It is extraordinarily tactile and fits together with very fine tolerances requiring a satisfying amount of force to open and close it.

A small and very attractive inlaid and cross banded walnut bachelors chest with a brushing slide and four long cock beaded drawers standing on bracket feet.
In excellent condition, having just been repolished and refurbished complete with working locks and key.
This dates to the early 20th Century, possibly Edwardian, it is high quality, extremely well made chest in the 18th Century style.

Rare 19th Century Ivory Spinning Top |
A beautifully crafted ivory spinning top numbered from 1 - 8, breaks down into four parts (see pictures) with a hole in the main shaft persumably for the string. Extremely finely made, well balanced, when spun it keeps going for a long time.
i can't decide whether this is a child's toy or for gambling or gaming.
This makes it difficult to date, for that reason I am going for 19th Century, but it could be earlier.

Regency Demi Lune Card Table |
Mahogany with satinwood inlay and boxwood stringing on tapering square section legs with spade feet, this gateleg action foldover card table is in good condition for its age, the green baize has been replaced at some point. This is a very useful table as it can be placed against a wall or brought out and opened for cards or to use for supper or tea.

Regency Mahogany Linen Press |
In fabulous condition, this is a George III linen press with flame mahogany doors, each framed with an ebony line inside a cross banded border, below a curved pediment standing on a base of two short and two long drawers with ivory escutcheons, turned knobs and standing on splayed feet.
It has just been sympathetically restored and refreshed with a working key and lock and with four internal drawers all running smoothly.

Dating to around 1810 this very elegant mahogany commode has just been restored; inlaid with boxwood and ebony in a feather and dart border, cross banded with rosewood, with four graduated oak lined cock beaded drawers, a writing /brushing slide, original plate handles and escutcheons and standing on bracket feet, it has exceptional patina and presence. It is in superb condition.

Regency Mahogany Side Table Circa 1820 |
A very pretty regency mahogany octagonal topped side table with drawer. Ebony stringing to the top and the facings of the legs. The curl veneer top is bookmarked creating a beautifully appealing finish. Twin spindle legs down to a matching cross rail to splayed feet with brass lion paw caps and casters. There is some evidence of repair and restoration to the feet, but this does not detract from the lovely patina of the piece.

Regency Swedish Painted Marble Topped Side Table |
Regency period, 1800-1820, Swedish painted wood and marble topped side table.
White marble top sits in a gilded wooden top section supported by four ornate gilded and painted carved columns which fit into a a painted faux marble wooden base.
The table is meant to stand against a wall having a plain wood rear. (see pictures)

Sangster Sword Stick 1861 |
A very rare Malacca cane sword stick by the famous makers Sangster, with a hallmarked silver knop and collar for London 1861, a fine engraved Toledo blade ending with a brass ferrule.
The cane scabbard has been refurbished and has a bit of a curve to it, the knop has some battle scars but the blade is clean and true, all in all it is in excellent condition.
