Regency Mahogany Linen Press
In fabulous condition, this is a George III linen press with flame mahogany doors, each framed with an ebony line inside a cross banded border, below a curved pediment standing on a base of two short and two long drawers with ivory escutcheons, turned knobs and standing on splayed feet.
It has just been sympathetically restored and refreshed with a working key and lock and with four internal drawers all running smoothly.

Regency Mahogany Pembroke Table
Early 19th Century drop leaf supper or tea table standing on elegant turned legs wth original brass castors, a full length drawer with brass handles. The Pembroke has just been repolished and sympathetically restored maintaining it's original colour and patination.

Regency Mahogany Serpentine Chest of Drawers
Dating to around 1810 this very elegant mahogany commode has just been restored; inlaid with boxwood and ebony in a feather and dart border, cross banded with rosewood, with four graduated oak lined cock beaded drawers, a writing /brushing slide, original plate handles and escutcheons and standing on bracket feet, it has exceptional patina and presence. It is in superb condition.

Regency Mahogany Side Table Circa 1820
A very pretty regency mahogany octagonal topped side table with drawer. Ebony stringing to the top and the facings of the legs. The curl veneer top is bookmarked creating a beautifully appealing finish. Twin spindle legs down to a matching cross rail to splayed feet with brass lion paw caps and casters. There is some evidence of repair and restoration to the feet, but this does not detract from the lovely patina of the piece.

Regency Swedish Painted Marble Topped Side Table
Regency period, 1800-1820, Swedish painted wood and marble topped side table.
White marble top sits in a gilded wooden top section supported by four ornate gilded and painted carved columns which fit into a a painted faux marble wooden base.
The table is meant to stand against a wall having a plain wood rear. (see pictures)

In very original condition.

Round Inlaid and Painted Tea Table
Edwardian mahogany inlaid and painted with flowers, foliage and ribbon decoration, tea table.
In reasonable condition, there is evidence of repairs to the top and one of the stretchers, but very attractive and useful for all that.
Priced accordingly.

Sangster Sword Stick 1861
A very rare Malacca cane sword stick by the famous makers Sangster, with a hallmarked silver knop and collar for London 1861, a fine engraved Toledo blade ending with a brass ferrule.
The cane scabbard has been refurbished and has a bit of a curve to it, the knop has some battle scars but the blade is clean and true, all in all it is in excellent condition.

Scottish Miniature Chest of Drawers
In well figured mahogany with a top convex drawer and three others with ivory/bone escutcheons and working locks, this very pretty miniature chest of drawers, made in the 19th century, is in excellent condition having just been refreshed and waxed.
These chests are sometimes referred to as "apprentice pieces" or "a salesmans sample" but they are more likely to just be decorative for keepsakes or small treasures and jewellery.

Set of 12 Silver Fruit Knives and Forks
A beautiful set of fruit knives and forks in an oak case, silver collars and tops with mother of pearl handles and etched foliate decoration to the silver plated blades. Generally in very good condition, one of the blades has some plate corrosion.

Made in Sheffield by Harrison Bros & Howson (George Howson) hallmarked for 1897.
Retailed by Martin & Co, Cheltenham.

Set of 12 Silver Tea Spoons with Sugar Tongs
A cased set of twelve Edwardian silver tea spoons with a pair of sugar tongs and retailed by Mappin & Webb.
Eleven of the spoons and the tongs were made by Josiah Williams & Co of Bristol and hallmarked for London 1911, one of the spoons (which is slightly larger - far right in the case) was made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd hallmarked for London 1905.
In excellent condition.

Set of Six Windsor Chairs
A matched set of six 19th century Ash and Elm wheel back dining or kitchen chairs with H frame cross members on turned supports.
In excellent, solid condition, with a great patina and colour.
There is evidence of long dead woodworm and there are slight variations to each chair as you would expect.

Set of Ten Rosewood Dining Chairs
A mixed set of eight single (five and three) and two carvers. The single chairs are late Regency rosewood slat back with carved back stretchers standing on reeded turned legs. The two carvers are modern reproductions made to match the singles.
All are in excellent condition and the seats are covered in a burgundy velvet material.

Ships Stick Barometer
Rare early 19th Century maritime barometer mounted on a wall bracket with a brass gimbal arrangement to allow for the movement of the sea. It also has a ring on the top to enable it to be suspended from a ceiling or bulkhead.
The top section is the barometer with a thermometer in the centre, there is also a key for adjustment. Unknown maker but of obvious quality, this barometer will be serviced and recalibrated prior to delivery.

Late Victorian, hallmarked and made in London by John Grinsell & Sons in 1899, this silver and cut glass ice bucket is in excellent condition. The internal silver platform divider is hallmarked for 1882 and Mappin & Webb.

Very attractive and practical desk ink blotter.
Hallmarked for Birmingham in 1919 and made by Cohen & Charles this well made piece has a finely figured tortoiseshell top with a silver knob and a hardwood base. It comes apart so that you can replace the blotting paper.

Silver Cream Jug Adam Style
Very elegant and fine Adam style cream or sauce jug.
Made in London and hallmarked for 1896 the makers mark is indistinct.
It did occur to me that it may have stood on a stand and may have been a trophy.
