Edwardian Silver Handled Sword Stick
Hallmarked for London 1902 and made by Henry Tracy & Sons this exquisite early 20th century sword stick is in excellent condition, has a square section blade, a silver & Malacca handle, silver collar, and faux bamboo scabbard ending in a brass ferrule.

Silver Topped Malacca Sword Stick
In excellent condition this sword stick is hallmarked for London 1889 and made by Henry Howell & Co (Jonathan Howell) of Old Street, London EC. It has a fullered blade that still has some of the original blueing and gilded scroll work apparent. On the end of the knop it has initials - BKN - or any combination of the three letters as they are arranged in an interlocking pattern. It ends in a chunky brass ferrule.

Malacca Cane Sword Stick
This very discreet malacca cane walking stick has a fullered Toledo blade inside, beautifully made and dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, it is in excellent condition with good colour, a fine action, no faults and ends in a brass ferrule.

Victorian Hardwood Sword Cane
It could also be described as a swagger stick because it appears slight, it has a white metal collar engraved "1875 Edwin Richardson" a triangular flat blade and ends with a brass ferrule. It is in good condition.

3 Draw Telescope Walking Stick
A novelty walking stick with a three draw telescope for the handle, made by W Gregory & Co, 51 The Strand (1893-1904). A standard Malacca walking stick with a fully working three draw telescope in excellent condition ending in a brass ferrule. A must for the walker ornithologist!

Wall Mounted Stick Rack
Made around 1910 this is a special and rare wall mounted stick stand.
The top section is made from chased and engraved steel with retractable pins that allows six sticks to be pushed in and held. The bottom painted steel drip tray mounts separately.

Bamboo Sword Stick or Surveyor's Probe
Originally made in the style of a Customs & Excise probe this Sword stick has a fullered steel blade, a bone carved dog's head handle that incorporates a whistle and has a graduated measure from six to thirty inches on the haft.
There is also a label for "Battle & Webb Ltd, Sugar Beet, Seed" which I would think post dates the early 20th century manufacture.

Hawthorn Sword Stick
Late 19th Century country made sword stick, steam bent handle, split Hawthorn scabbard with a white metal collar and ending in a brass ferrule. The blade is round at the handle and becomes square as you move down the shaft, more a stabbing weapon then a blade.
I think this was made by a local blacksmith for a farmer, it has a very satisfying feel to handle.

Chinese Bamboo Walking Cane
Ornately detailed with Chinese scenes of plants, trees, houses, and figures in Chinese dress on a white metal top (possibly silver, and if not then, silver plate) and the cane having a bamboo shaft tapering to a brass ferrule.
This is a very handsome cane and generally in very good condition, although the top has had a hard life and is dented.

Sangster Sword Stick 1861
A very rare Malacca cane sword stick by the famous makers Sangster, with a hallmarked silver knop and collar for London 1861, a fine engraved Toledo blade ending with a brass ferrule.
The cane scabbard has been refurbished and has a bit of a curve to it, the knop has some battle scars but the blade is clean and true, all in all it is in excellent condition.

Silver Handled Malacca Sword Stick
Exquisite and beautifully crafted Malacca cane with engraved diamond shaped stiletto blade, push button release lock, silver belt and buckle collar with clear shield and silver hallmarked (sterling mark obscure, maker - M&S(?)) embossed handle ending in a brass ferrule.
Made at the end of the 19th Century, this sword cane is in excellent condition, it closes with a very satisfying click and is one of the best I have handled.

Edwardian Ebonised Sword Stick
In truly excellent condition, this ebonised cane has a silver embossed handle hallmarked for Chester 1902, the maker is NR & Co (which I have been unable to identify further), with a white metal collar and ending in a brass ferrule, it has a square section blade and has very good balance.

Paste encrusted silver plated mushroom shaped pommel, a silver (hallmarked Sheffield, date and maker rubbed) screwed collar with a bronze hexagonal section "cattle prod" shaft contained in a Malacca cane terminating in a brass ferrule, this is an impressive cane in excellent condition.

Victorian Doctor's Sword Stick Cane
Topped with a silver cap (London 1895), engraved to a Dr Tristan of Retford in Nottinghamshire, this malacca sheathed sword stick has a Toledo steel blade with a twist locking mechanism and so is a quality specimen.
It is in very good condition although the silver top has taken some knocks over the years.

African Ebony Walking Cane
Ornately detailed with African scenes of acacia trees, birds, straw huts, and animals on a white metal top (possibly silver, and if not then, silver plate) and an ebony shaft inlaid with dots of ivory that spirals through the centre section tapering to a brass ferrule.
This is a very handsome cane and in very good condition, the top has some dents and the ferrule is a replacement.
